Before pursuing his career, he earned his B.S in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University and his M.S. in Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Lawson grew up in Hoover, Alabama. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his wife, son, and yellow lab.

Dr. Larezia Williams
Dr. Larezia Williams is originally from Montgomery, AL. She earned a bachelors (Biology) and masters (Vision Science) from the University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr. Williams has worked in non-profit pediatrics, refractive surgery and corporate optometry since graduating from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2019. Her interests include pediatric optometry, community eye care, and vision therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family, exercising, and sporting events.
