Family First Vision Care Gardendale is your neighborhood eye doctor located at 655 Fields Town Road. Your Gardendale eyecare center offers genuine eye care where your eye health and wellness is our primary focus. Annual eye exams are a recommended cornerstone for ensuring the health of your eyes. In addition to checking for changes in your vision and updating your prescription, we will also look at your overall eye health, internally and externally. Prevention and early detection are keys to maintaining healthy eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. That’s why regular check-ups are critical.
Before pursuing his career, he earned his B.S in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University and his M.S. in Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Lawson grew up in Hoover, Alabama. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his wife, son, and yellow lab.
Education: Dr. Johnathan Lawson earned his O.D. at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and completed his residency in Primary Care & Ocular Disease.

Dr. Madonna Ghobrial is a personable optometrist dedicated to comprehensive, patient centered vision care with an emphasis on ocular disease management and long term eye health. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, she earned her Bachelor of Science with honors from Middle Tennessee State University before completing the competitive OD MBA dual degree program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, graduating with academic distinction.
